“We tried to take advantage of the negotiations process and ambush the PLA but instead got our asses whooped so badly that dozens of our men died just trying to escape” doesn’t make for a good story. It is like the movie Rashomon.
Probably some sort of loss of consciousness or disorientation when the fell in. The current was pretty substantial too so it may also be that they had lost footing in the river and were taken away by the flow.

You sure TASS is the one that made PLA talk? Because 'US Intelligence' claims of 35 PLA deaths also made that position 'untenable', but somehow didn't cut it? But since you already assume the fact that TASS forced China's hand, why do you still have to ask 80 more times? Obviously you don't accept the answer that Chinese authorities wanted to wait for a concrete resolution (however temporary) before disclosing the real numbers publicly, but if you want another answer that is more palatable to you, you're not going to find it here.

I think the results speak for themself. Following Galwan, the Indians made a big deal about capturing high points south of Pangong. They had photos and videos and everything and treated the event with great fanfare...
But they kept the operations under wraps to avoid alerting the PLA. So secret that one of the Tibetan soldiers stepped on a landmine because the Indian Army didn’t inform him of the location of the minefields.
They are so scared of another confrontation with the PLA that they rather incur own goals to avoid fighting.
Don't know why we are still obsess with talking to fake Chinese or Indian hiding behind other identity. I have more respect to Kakyan than this thing.
We might have many thing that we disagree with Kakyan, but at least we know he is someone who love his country and doesn't attempt to hide... This longmarch is just a fake.... Twisting facts, hiding behind fake identity and all these. I have already choose to ignore his posts so they will not appear again to me... Indians are spamming the crying PLA videos again. Sadly, that’s the only thing they can post to soothe their wounded egos because if the Indians do have the real video, they are keeping probably keeping it in a bank vault out of embarrassment.
To answer some of your questions, I recently learned that there is a more complete video version of the Galwan video with gore and viscera. However, said video is internal viewing for the PLA only. I still hope the Indian captives one get released at some point in time.
