There is no more territory gained after disengagement agreements were finalised. You would be right if it were a month ago but no longer.
Disputed area again relegated back to the same status it has been prior to 2020 but without India's patrolling or their building of roads and camps leading to it.
China's bargain was to remove PLA positions from the disputed and equipment. Whether PLA will be allowed to patrol the area is uncertain and quite unlikely. If it's obvious and at least we agree that China had much more than a simple upper hand in negotiations, it can only be speculated that the agreement to disengage was motivated by receiving something worthwhile from India.

Certainly those Jai Hind type will keep on their denial because while China has pretty much stick to the original narrative and have plenty of evidence to show for it, India will have to contort theirs even to just fit into anything that's close enough to the reality.
Bet next time IA will want their Jawans to make sure come back with dead PLA personnel and gear to show for it, instead of keep losing men and Chinese to repatriate Indian POW afterwards.
