Public opinion is stirred up because Chinese response is to say the least meek. Its not about 4 v 20 which Indians are too obsessed about . Its the fact that India was the aggressor and attempted to change the status quo . 4 soldiers died defending their land from aggression and China is still involved in disengagement talks. Where are the economic, diplomatic & political sanctions? Australia simply make stupid statements and they were punished economically but no such actions against India. Why ?

When an intruder enters your home and you kick him out, do you negotiate with him to not return again or simply make him incapable to even try it in future?

Those four died because they were part of a small negotiation group and were attacked by a large force of heavily armed Indian troops.

When PLA reinforcements arrived, the Indians were completely routed.

The small PLA force was able to hold out for a long time against a far larger Indian force.

Reality hurts you. We got back Abhinandan while you could not get back Lt Col Habib Zahir using Abhinandan as hostage (who we kidnapped as retaliation to kidnapping of businessman Kulbhushan).

OK so I can't be bothered scrolling through 10 pages of accidents identifying which ones are fighter pilots, especially because it doesn't matter. There is no reason to include only fighter pilots in a death count. However, I will tell you my initial impression: I scrolled down to the bottom of the first page for Pakistan and realized that I was at 2015 in accident count. But India had so many accidents I had to get to the bottom of page 3 to get to 2015. You guys have a ton of accidents.

Are you trolling or are you just that obtuse?

China is Australia's biggest customer, that's what gives China the leverage to sanction them. What exactly can China sanction India with?

Further, the Indians lost vast swathes of territory following that clash, why would China need to further sanction them?

You use the right tool against the right enemy. In this case, the right tool to use against Indians is to give them a good beating whenever they act up.

I see. Baloch groups like the BLA and the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are both designated as terrorist groups by the US. Are you saying that India supports both of these groups even though they are on the US terror list? That would mean that India is state sponsor of terrorism.

But even more interesting. If India really is supporting the TTP. Imagine this: India, a US "democratic ally" supporting the Pakistani brethren of the Afghan Taliban terrorists (though they are essentially just the same Taliban). The guys who killed thousands of US soldiers in Afghanistan. The guys who are blamed by the US for aiding Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the 9-11 attacks. Wow, imagine how America would feel about that.
