Checked this reporter Barkha Dutt's wiki page, and some glaring issues stuck out:
  • She has been accused of "over-the-top nationalism" in her reporting
  • Considered a soft-peddler on Hinduvata (RSS)
  • She was involved in a major corruption scandal
Not exactly a reliable and unbiased source of intel... it's a pretty desperate attempt by the WP.

In fact barkha dutt is secular and both her current and former husband are muslims.

If there were 30 Indian soldiers fighting against several hundred Chinese, how come 90 of them were injured and an additional 10 captured via earlier reports?

This doesn’t even deserve an opinions section article.
The Chinese don't need several hundred to fight 30 Low Muscled Mass Indians.
The Indians would have problem fighting the Chinese One on One,

Over 70% of Indians have poor muscle health
The survey, led by InBody — a global leader in body composition analysis — in association with France based IPSOS global market research, showed that more than 71 per cent of males and females in the age group of 30-50 in the country need to gain more muscle mass.

My question is simple -
Why aren't the press of the West shaken up by all these great stories of Indian supremacy over the Chinese "weaklings" ?
It was my understanding that the "Western press" spared no chance in making sure any and all missteps, shortfalls and blunders of a Communist Army is properly shown to everyone.

All I see are niche Tabloids ( USNews) and Falung Gong / Taiwan GP sympathetic press trying to highlight these tales of great Indian supremacy.

I am genuinely curious.

Because your view of the west is distorted

You must have missed this from BBC. A distorted narrative of Chinese treachery.

Or does it belong in tabloid category.

No it doesn't. By boycotting Chinese goods and services, Indian companies will receive diminished Chinese investment and China related revenue/profits, hurting Indian companies in the long run. No one could fill the shortfall ...

India predominantly makes money by selling raw materials to China.

Indian companies just aren't competitive against Chinese companies overall.

And foreign companies generally make investments in India to serve the Indian market, not to export elsewhere.

It is difficult to see how India can achieve a return to pre-2 May 2020 status quo positions without resorting to a conventional military operation, something I don’t think either side’s political leadership want. The reason for this is there appears little India can offer China that is both verifiable and enduring, that might entice China to withdraw.
