India wants to be considered ah " empire ". It wallows in its past hyping up it Vedic technoloies that claim they had thermo-nuclear weapons, super-sonic flight, amphibious bridges and death rays.
Here is an example:
Adams Bridge
A geological ocean bed formation consisting of shoals and a limestone rocky ridge linking the coast lines of Sri Lanka and southern India is supposed to evidence of an engineering feat under the command of a deity. The "bridge" was supposedly built to facilitate the
invasion of Sri Lanka by an army of hybrid primates.
At its highest point the rock ridge is only a 2 metes below the water surface and it interferes with maritime passage through the straits. Ships such as tankers and freighters with deep drafts have to go around Sri Lanka instead of sailing through the channel. This means a 400 km or 30 hour addition to the shipping time.
A proposal to cut away some portion of the ridge to allow ships to pass was stopped by India on religious grounds.
Ironically it is India which is affected by the ridge because it lengthens the shipping distance between India's ports on its eastern and western coasts.
India's problems are history related:
- A 600 year old mosque becomes a dispute between two religious communities resulting in violence that took thousands of lives, and the destruction of billions of rupees worth of property.
-The observation of a 200th anniversary of a battle fought between mercenary troops of the British East India company and the local kiing results in fresh violence with dozens injured and millions of rupees worth of property was destroyed.
There used to be sporadic attempts at promoting harmony but with a new regime in power enmity towards different communities is actually encouraged.
If China was stronger, the Indians would be punished for every malicious lie.
Apparently, the world is supposed to believe Indian and US news, two biggest China haters, over the Chinese and Bhutanese government statements on a Chinese-Bhutanese issue.

Looks like the US is gonna start giving ammo for India to build a narrative of Chinese aggression. Very convinient. Still, this will change nothing between India and China. If India feels very empowered by Uncle Sam's support, why not fire the first shot? Let's see how far can it can go?

You know what China can learn from all of this? If you're gonna exploit some foreign land, create some border disputes in the area so by the time you're gone, the remaining suckers can fight over that shit while forgetting about what you did to them.
