Its just the angle at which the photo is taken. Even supermodels needs favorable lighting and angles to make them look good. We can get a better judge of this plane in the coming days or weeks when we have more photos coming out.

Is it me or maybe the angle of the photo, that the back arch looks really high. I remember the jf17 having a straight back.

The spine is really thick, thicker than the model at least. Hope they're making good practical use of it like on the late model F-16s.
