I just read over at the "Chinese Engine Development" Thread that WS-13E has achieved certification, and expected to be ready for mass production in about a year's time (or less hopefully!):

It would be really interesting if we finally begin to see FC-1 being offered for export. Maybe a few squadrons for PLAAF would not be too long a speculation?
Lastly, if WS-13E provides a significant improvement in thrust (~10%) & weight (~2-5%) over RD-93, what are the chances of it being incorporated in JF-17?
FC-1B / JF-17B prototype is also expected to be completed later this year and slated for induction in PAF next year. Is it mere coincidence that JF-17B & WS-13E have overlapping induction timing, with WS-13E being a bit ahead?
J-31 is also reportedly ready for testing with WS-13, according to a post on the J-31 thread.
Analysis, even speculation, would be most welcome!
