I was wondering about the Japanese words "後方" (backend) and "信号射撃" (shoot tracer round).
You translation is that JASDF pilot tried to line up with PLAAF fighter. I understand line-up means to put the two jets in parallel, not at one's backend (後方). So I am still wondering who was trying to go to whose backend? Doing so is aggressive, isn't it? Can you answer this?
The reason that I replied to your post was because it was only a part of what I gathered from Japanese media report, especially because your first post did not mention the keyword "backend". Until that is clear, I don't know whether I correctly implied something or misunderstood you.
You left a lot of the full event compared with the Japanese news report. If you wrote your post off your memory, then you failed to gather the full event. Either way, left out or fail to, the end result looks the same. That is maybe why you think I am implying something.
In your imagination - they certainly did.And in those incidents, Japan came off way worse than China did.
Here is a vid giving a detailed explanation on how JASDF carries out a scramble launch intercepting a incoming.
