I've always liked the F35 aesthetic, this somehow looks like an even nicer F35

Overall I am very happy that this project is finally happening

F35 is just about the ugliest tactical aircraft to see service in about 6 decades. it would take very hard work for the designers of the J-35 to make it not nicer looking than the F-35.

Idk, I really like the short stubby simple looking wings, reminds me of the simpler days of aviation I guess

Let's not digging too deep into the cartoon or otherwise you would find this drone as the closest aircraft in shape.

According to the Chinese media the J-35 carrier-borne fighter jet will debut before year end, so just a couple of months away. Can't wait!

It should be J-31.
