The Russians are trying to get buyers for their su-57 and su-75. Wouldn't make sense to buy foreign alternatives to what you are trying to export...
The Su-57 has no buyers except the Russian Air Force and even they seem reluctant! While, the Su-75 is just a concept like the Su-57 no takers! Regardless, Russia was nearly broke before the War in Ukraine. So, again what choice or choices do they really have???

This is all ot but to anyone following the Russian military, it's obvious they won't be purchasing J-35s anytime soon. The vast majority of posters here would agree.
Their current Aircraft Carrier (Admiral Kuznetsov) is in Refit at the moment and should return to the fleet in 2024 or 2025 at the latest.

I guess the sarcasm didn't land.

I guess the reality of the the situation for Russia didn't land either? The fact is Russia just can't afford to replace the majority of her former Soviet Era Equipment. Hell, the majority now is nearly at the end of their service lives. In addition even what few new types Russia can afford like the Su-57 and T-14 Armata MBT. Can only be acquired in very small numbers. (token numbers) Plus, that doesn't even touch on the long list of other systems in dire need of replacement! Yet, few even bring up the subject or just discount it out of hand. Honestly, Russia is racing towards a cement wall and her brakes are out!
