Latest possible "late 2030s" are within 18 years.
I.e. simple calculus gives us 1 new carrier every 1.8 years, for a span of 18 years.
That's quite a lot for a steady production run over such a long period.
Not so much that it's hard to achieve, rather than a lot is going to change over such a long period of time.
Heck, declared intention to build such a fleet alone will cause a tectonic shift on a world stage.
Thus, frankly speaking, the need for a thousand J-35s (which aren't intended to be sole nor even a majority carrier fighter) comes under a big question mark.
