It's pure speculation which passes as credible news these days. They can't go by their stereotype that China is not transparent and super secretive? Sources confirmed? Is it this forum or any other Chinese site that has arleady been posted for a while now? People make fun of Chinese fanboys in forums like these but it seems fanboy speculation becomes legitimate after it goes through the filter of one of these journalists just reading and repeating it. The Chinese are suppose to be automatons? I guess it takes one to know one. Look at the slew of newbies that come in here with an obvious position about China. They act like we haven't heard their tired old cliche points before... you know because Chinese are denied basic information and they alone are going to be the ones to school us.
I find it fascinating about the journey of the supposed J-21. Two things are happening in regards to these pics being posted. Either people know enough already that it's important enough to take pics and post or there's a coordination going on from the internet that people are looking out for it. Either way it says China is more wired than people think.

Almost everyone live in the city or travel on the expressway has camera phone that's connected to Weibo nowadays, even migrant workers, so I'm actually surprised so few pictures showed up. I'm pretty sure there are plenty more, people just haven dug them up from each person's Weibo account yet.

No doubt, but you still need to be at the right time and place, know what to look for, and not busy driving / sleeping / doing something else to take the right picture and/or video.
While the first one is in day time, later ones shows at night. If they pick the transit time during grave shift hours (for ease of traffic and/or security control take your pick), then there'd be less people taking good pics.

Well, it is funny that Janes is writing it down. Back (decade or two ago) they had good technical data. Now it is "sources in beijng told Janes"... "One western diplomat"... Or the Russian and Ukrain engineers... I mean how can you take this firm serious. With internet and enough informed sources on the net you do not need Janes.
