Almost positive that J-20 is designed as an air superiority fighter. The TVC for J-20 should be ready by the time it enters service. Currently it is flying without TVC.
what are those white dots on the wings and tail... i've seen the ones on the tail before but not on the wings.. it somewhat looks like paint loss

Did the J-20 perform a somersault in this .gif? If so, isn't it more than enough to confirm it is an air superiority?
shaky cam (as usual probably), and no time reference, can't tell how 'tight' the maneuver was just from a gif, or a low quality vid
that's why i don't really like those gifs, or merged pic sequence, but pics are pics, always appreciated

Wing twist allows the wing to stall gradually.
I've sent the guy who took the pictures a message on CJDBY asking him how much time elapsed between each frames. We could get a better idea if he answers.
I think even if J-20 does the world's best cobra manouver it is not enough to persuade naysayers that the aircraft's role is airdom.
