I meant using them as a counter example.

Why? You would be using flawed assumptions to counter another flawed assumptions.

You will need to perform CFD analysis using software such as OpenFOAM on a proper CAD model. And you can't just perform the simulation on J-20 model, you will also need to perform the same analysis on F-22 to have a baseline to compare against.

Counter to the argument that those software aren't the right tools for analyzing fighter aerodynamics??? I thought I made it obvious.

But, Those Software (DATCOM) aren't the right tools for analyzing fighter aerodynamics.

DATCOM is used more as a first iteration back of envelope calculation by Preilim design people especially the stability and controls group.

MacAir guys who developed it way back when made it very clear.

That's my point all along!!! Hence the point "counterargument" since it would produce ridiculous results for other fighters as well!

Just asking, If J-20's CG is in front of AC but behind NP:
the AOA of canards will be slightly higher than AOA of the main wing(/body) for trimming at low speed level flight However the canards' AOA will be lower than the AOA of main wing (but not necessarily negative canards AOA) to trim a high g turn or high alpha attitude right?
