… and now this??Just got this from a friend … interesting, but IMO looks a bit fishy … based on the tail booms and the red/yellow PLAAF symbol it is an early prototype, but my feeling tells me it is psed! What do you think?

If PS, it is one of the best ever. Can't be mad about it then.

Yeah, I’m still thinking through which engine this actually is. While it seems pretty undeniable now that the WS-15 has flown in a J-20 and it’s pretty likely that there might even be a J-20 flying with two of them, we first got hint that there was a J-20 with a single TVC engine as far back as 2017-18, from that one account that draws cartoons for these milestones. It could very well be the case that the plane we’re seeing in these photos was the plane being referred to in the cartoon, and that this engine is a WS-10 with TVC. If the J-20 is meant to get TVC it would make sense to start TVC flight control development even before the WS-15 was ready to fly. And if that’s the case, this single engine TVC equipped J-20 could very well have been flying for 5-6 years now.If authentic, this image could be several years old by now.
Who's this Orca guy again?Orca got pretty mad that people are sharing the photo with Deino so I think it is legit.
