There is nothing special of the gold tint canopy in any aircraft. I am particularly talking about F-22 which is the one that people "discovered" the magical effect. All these canopies are coated with Indium Tin Oxide which at a certain angel to the incoming light would appear gold to the observer in a certain angel to the aircraft. There are many photos that F-16's canopy appears gold. There are also many photos that F-22's canopy appears that same as J-20 as the photo below shows. I suspect the reason of F-22 appears "unique" is USAF giving more PR attention to F-22 by employing artistical centric photographers.

These tinted glasses are commonly used in civilian application. Many fancy ski masks give gold, silver and rainbow effect.

Nah, I never said gold tinted is special, all I said was I can find a good image of j-20 shown it’s canopy in tinted color/reflection, and the new image looks like in gold tinted effects

J-20 simulator.

Let's brighten it a bit to highlight the size of the large MFD:

Looks like a very nice large screen! I wonder if it is the largest screen used in a fighter aircraft to date?

I think its kind of funny, but I feel like every aircraft in a decade is going to have an identical looking cockpit lol (e.g. a giant MFD with maybe a smaller center screen between the legs and then side controls)!

Probably the largest. The only other one being said to have a very large screen is F-35. It turns out that it is two screens with very thin bezels put side by side.
Here is F-35 simulator. See the middle top, word SWAP is split in two by the bezels of the two halves. All the horizontal lines are split.

Real F-35 cockpit, the black bar in the middle is more visible due to the higher brightness of the screen to counter the ambient light.

So a question, isnt touch screen harder to operate during all the maneuvering compared to traditional buttons? or just the UI has advanced alot that during such time everything can be managed by the joystick?

I doubt the pilot can reach those buttons in a traditional fighter in a violent maneuver (dog fight). So in both modern and transitional fighter, most things in such situation are done through joystick. In such situation there is not much thing the pilot need to do anyway, you got the radar and computer to do the tracking and locking, you only need to turn the nose and pull the trigger when locked. All these things can be done through joystick.

There's actually something to be said for having two screens in the same overall large panomaric screen -- it means that if one suffers a malfunction, the whole thing doesn't go down.

In any case, we've known for a while that J-20 has a large single display for years and last year at Zhuhai some of the flight displays of J-20 gave us a good image of the interior of the J-20s cockpit where its configuration and large display was confirmed.

It's amusing that even this simulator image doesn't show us anything particularly new or in particularly new/good quality.

As for the largest display -- there are other aircraft with that sort of displays, including F-15EX, F-18E/F Block III, and Gripen E/F, which are in the running.

That advantage has a price. The processing demand on the CPU is higher, the screen response is lower because there is one layer of software and hardware merging the two screens into one virtual screen. Today's ICs and LCDs are almost 100% reliable, so long as not shot by a bullet or EMP in which case nothing would work. Just a panel backing up another isn't much of advantage IMO.

This is the reason why single large screen is preferred. To be fare, at the time of F-35's development, such large LCD panels aren't really available. So F-35's choice is understandable, but I am sure if LM got an upgrade contract, it will choose single large panel.
