When the WS-15 finishes development will all the J-20s receive it or just the ones without the WS-10C?

When the WS-15 finishes development, it is likely that all new J-20s in produced will feature WS-15 as their powerplant (perhaps among other minor upgrades).

If you are referring to J-20s already produced prior to that, whether those aircraft are eventually re-engined with WS-15 is not something we know will happen. It depends on a number of factors, including the complexity of such a re-engining program, the production capacity of WS-15s, among others.

It is possible the airframe is engineered to handle it in future.

WS_15 production will be prioritized for new aircraft and the more time it take to field enough ws-15 to make upgrades, the more the amount of time left on these airframes will be a factor.

Sorry, is the J-20AS the twin-seater J-20 variant? Is this the first time we've seen it in paint colours, assuming its the one with the larger canopy?
