Seems like new fighter bomber based on J20?

See here

The size and planform is highly unlikely to be related to J-20 and is not what we would expect of a modern manned strike aircraft.

It is either a subscale flight demonstrator or a UAV/UCAV or both.

Problem is you don't always know where enemy radar is or how strong the enemy's radar range might be. What I'm getting at is that whole idea of a stealth fighter is to operate in contested non-permissive environment where the threats are almost certainly unknown.

Why have additional equipment, which also takes away a PL-10, when the chin mounted EOTS could potentially provide the exact same function?
Guns, Laser beams, rearward EOTS capability, new equipment, or improved EOTS components, EW kit, emitters. WVR weapons.

I wonder if it possible to put targeting pod into J-20's side bay to give J-20 some ground attack capability without compromising it stealth.

if you can make the targeting pod approximately the same size as that missile and fit the same launch rails, then yes.

optionally, you might design a pod where the optical elements are in a separate module connected to the rest of the pod by wire, so only the optical head need to snap out if the bay and have the bay door noise behind it, the rest of the module can stay inside the bay. this would require changes to the missile launching rai mechanism, but would seem to allow a more normally sized targeting pod than one forced to fit i the dimension of an IR missile.

J-20 has already place for the pods as mentioned!!! Please.. !! :)
