I mean , I wouldn’t read too much into this ,according to rumors (not anymore ), the front body was completely redesigned, so at this point, it’s like the 2002 prototype, This canopy simply couldn’t be the final solution TBH

You could be right, I remember the 1st J-20 prototype not having a canopy frame until the production model came out.

The pictures of it so far don't look like the front section of the aircraft has been redesigned, albeit of course the quality of the pictures are poor.

But I personally would be surprised if the rest of the nose and entire forward fuselage has been redesigned.
I would expect only the frontal dorsal fuselage where the cockpit and canopy is to have been redesigned and restructured.

Furthermore, there's no reason to believe this aircraft is an equivalent to the 200X prototypes, after all this is merely a twin seater for an existing in service aircraft that's been in production for a while. The 200X prototypes were somewhat more akin to initial technology demonstrators while the 201X were more like preproduction prototypes.

This J-20S aircraft should be much closer to 201X prototypes than the 200X aircraft.

WS-18 also can be used in all kinds of H6 variants. it is a huge number in future
One of the reason to keep developing WS-18 could be for future replacement for existing air-frames that use DP-30s. To certify WS-18 for that purpose, it has to be installed on a new Y-20 air-frame that is identical to the ones made for DP-30s.

So I believe that there are air-frames that are simultaneously testing WS-18 and WS-20. I think Tang Changhong actually said so not long ago that was reported in this foru

There are no rumours at all which have suggested that the J-20S is powered by WS-15s, I'm unsure where you derived that from.
Two seated version was first reported by janes around 2014,since there are rumor in the chinese website about two seat version. Being develop, .
