That’s what I learned from some reliable sources within China, like yankeesama. Yes WS-15 powered J-20 is now called J-20C. It appears they are following even more closely with USAF.@huitong
Out of interest, any reasoning for why you're calling the twin seat J-20 "J-20B" rather than "J-20AS" or "J-20S"?
Because I note that of course moves all of the subsequent designations to the right as well, as the WS-15 J-20 would be called J-20C, which I suppose in this context would at least be more logical than calling the WS-10 equipped single seat J-20 as "J-20B" -- but it still would have the odd precedent of having a twin seat variant of a single seat aircraft adopt a successive variant name rather than a "S" variant name.
