But what's the source? Anything reliable or a Fan only... and any hints where it is based?
This is a screen so from a video. I can’t say more until I’ve watched the thing.
I'm not sure we should be taking that particular source as authoritative, it's not like it's from a direct PLA report or anything.
I mean, it's very reasonable for it to have happened, but I'm not sure if this source is one that we should be taking seriously. Is it just from Guancha? They're not exactly military insiders, and they rely on the same kind of grapevine we do.
Also, I think LKJ86's judgement of news and rumours overreaches sometimes...
The phrasing of the sentence "The first batch of J-20 equipped with WS-10 engines has serviced in PLAAF this year," implies we have some kind of definitive, irrefutable proof, which imo we have none of at present and that video certainly is not. So I wouldn't get too excited.
It's pretty funny that you don't recognize the person in the video.
