Are those HTC VR headsets?? I wonder what people in Taiwan will be thinking when the media in Taiwan pick this up as news (and of course with a lot of negative spin) lol. It's rather unwise for PLAAF to publish this photo because DPP loves to stir up shit with stuff like this. I wonder how PLAAF got their hands on HTC VR headsets...
They purchased them online. HTC sells products in China too you know
I don't think the PLA cares about the DPP's opinion. If they did they wouldn't have paraded Taiwanese spies on National TV for three days straight.
Actually what I'm thinking is whether DPP will forbid HTC to sell VR headsets to the PLA (though I have a feeling the PLA purchased those headsets via third-party), and from how far DPP has gone recently I won't be surprised if they really do so

Check on Alibaba International.com China Mainland supplier on HTC VR headsets. Bulk purchase or min 2 items purchase. They are probably made in Mainland China just like some Apple products.

There is TVC. When in cruising, the leading edge and trailing edge flaps of the main wing are the main control surfaces (probably in the same way as other fly-wing designs), while TVC provides assisting control.
It is just an off-shelf VR headset that many companies are making. Nothing fancy. PLA does not care. P.S. I have a friend working with HTC VR in Beijing. I think HTC is more of a mainland company in reality than Taiwan where it is registered.
HTC sells their VR to anybody in mainland without asking who the buyer is, and they are made in mainland too. If DPP want to take actions, I think HTC would rather move their headquarter to mainland.

A lot of drama over a consumer product literally anyone can buy online or even at specialist gaming/electronics stores. You cannot stop foreign militaries from using them short of suspending sales globally.
The US military were using DJI drones in a big way until Pentagon higher ups made them stop, didn’t see China making drama over it.
