TV Voiceover:

The J20 has high stealth, high situational awareness, and high maneuverability. With a supersonic cruise speed of 1.8 Mach, it can quickly reach combat areas and gain an advantage in beyond-visual-range air combat, enabling it to detect and attack the enemy first

Mach 1.8 supercruise? Totally believable.

The J-20 by design has relatively low drag. J-20A with its (trans-sonic) drag reducing features such as the 'hump', revised noze and fitted with a thorough developed WS-15 should have no problem reaching that speed.

A chubby YF-22 reached M1.6 at the least during tests while the sleeker YF-23 reached figures north of M1.7 on non-optimized airframes and engines.

A nice image for the weekend.

Can someone explain why the paint or RAM coating looks so different between the front J-20S and rear J-20A? The black color scheme looks so beautiful, clean, futuristic compared to rear grey ones.

Not sure what you mean. The front is a J-20S, the middle row is J-20A, and the rear is J-20. There's a different paint scheme with the newer J-20 variants and the RAM is almost certainly a new, more advanced formulation. The EOTS window material is also clearly different with some remarkable optical properties. The engines are also different if you look at the lengths of the silver collars behind the black nozzles where they protrude from the fuselage.

I believe this is done may be beacuse of
1) Improvement in RAM coating, latest coating may have different shade of colors, and also
2) Older aircraft retain the original coating until an approriate time (eg. Major overhaul or MLU) to re-coat with new RAM.
3) DIfferent shades of color can be used for identification purpose of aircraft type, i.e. J20A, J20S or J20.

It can be all of above, or any one or two of above. Only PLAAF can give affirmative answer.
