This is interesting … seems as if another FTTB unit received J-20, namely the 171st according to this one with the serial number 74525.

An explanation could be that zhe 172nd is transferring its older J-20 since it is getting J-20A?!

Now back from Rome I'm trying to save the best images I missed ... any idea where the original one of this posted at @huitong's site is from?

16 J-20 brigades now? 400-450 in service wdyt?
Is this accurate?

16 brigades?
400-450 planes?

25-28 per brigade?

This shouldn't be accurate. I'm still of the belief that J-20s numbers in the 300-350.

If its WW3, they can basically get every single US made F-35 in the hand of European allies and use them against China. Those allies will happily supply everything they have to US. As far as fielding them is concerned. Every highway can be an airfield. Every large factory or warehouse could be a hidden F-35 hanger. When there is a war, there is a way. The question is how willing US is to fight China. If its full-scale WW3 style commitment, then they are bringing their entire alliance.

This lopsided situation could improve if China starts building 50+ J-35 along with 100 j-20. Then they can probably atleast be equal to US stealth fighter numbers in 10 years. But still won't improve the situation when it comes to US bringing all the allied planes, missiles and other weapons. For China to match that alone will likely take about 2050.

Can you stop derailing a flagship thread with elementary school level analysis?

I wonder what the feeling of the pilots and crew was like in that brigade making that huge jump in tech. The changes in training, doctrine, schedule everything must have been insane.

Adjustment is going to be hard. This isn’t so much dropping bad habits as relearning how to fly all over again. Older pilots might as well as retire.

Self-explanatory. Note the images have been edited (i.e. color balance, sharpening, noise reduction, etc.).

If you don't look too hard, the J-20S could almost be mistaken for a single-seater -- the long fuselage and distance between wing and cockpit makes for some strange proportions
