If it's based on the missile/contrail marginally climbing slightly in altitude, that imo is very indecisive and can be consistent with a PL-10 launch as well.


Or is it just based on the comment below the video, in which case I would ask whether their comment (regardless of own background credibility) is reflective of just watching the video themself or if they know first hand from inside sources that this was a PL-15 launch.

On a more serious note, the spacing between the underwing stores gave it away. The J-20 is supposed to have 3 hardpoints under each wing while the image showed space for only 2.

Since when is the J20 „supposed to have 3 hardpoints under each wing“? IMO there are only two.
