This is quite the statement. Although the Rolls Royce engine for the F-35 was the better one.

I don't know about the F136 being better than the F135, but don't forget the F136 is a GE-RR joint project with 60% of share going to GE. Full Engine tests are at GE.

Even ignoring that the Eurojet EJ200 is running circles around the F100 technolgy and performance wise.
The F100 have been in-service since the mid-1970's and the F110 since mid-1980's. EJ-200 1st flew in 1991 and entered service later (2003?). The F-22 & F119 reached IoC in 2005.
EJ-200, M88 are very advanced and the EJ-200 could be improved to 120 kN in the future if they choose to but when it comes very high-thrust turbofans going well over 100 kN the US has been the king followed by Russia.
China only recently (with great difficulty) joined the club with the WS-10 with reheat thrust ranging from 118 kN to 137 kN.
