Hmmm ... maybe I'm still too tired after the new year celebrations yesterday or for my old eyes it is still too small and too blurred.

It's ok, Deino. The people at CJDBY and myself can't tell if it is a WS-10X J-20, either. We need a picture with more pixels.
The nozzles are black though. Don't AL-31s have silver nozzles?
That does seem to indicate WS-10X but now it's a comedic reversal from every other aircraft in PLAAF/PLANAF service, where AL-31s have black nozzles and WS-10s have silver nozzles.
It's nice to see them flying the WS-10s on the J-20 finally,, no doubt China watchers will be impressed!
