For 002 class, the second-generation of Chinese aircraft carrier and very likely CATOBAR, it's still going to be J-15 and its enhanced version, simply because the time frame does not allow for designing and introducing a new class of carrier-based aircraft. It is also not necessary.

Good points, however, you need to bear in mind that carriers are typically in operation for decades, and depending on just how many carriers of that class are built, it may be a decade or more between when the first ship of the class is launched and the last. Thus a key requirement for good carrier designing is to try and anticipate future needs and developments, and factor that into the design to give it growth potential and allow it to remain relevant for as long as possible.

A carrier version of the J20 won't likely be ready when 002 is first launched, but that does not mean 002 should not be designed with such a fighter and other, still in early development, assets in mind. Assets that will likely enter service en mass during the lifetime of the carrier(s) of that class.

Your grammar makes no sense, but I assume you're asking why J-20 and FC-31 do not have guns whereas all new fighters (outside of F-35B/C) do.

It has been discussed before, to great length. We have identified what may be J-20's gunport many pages back. FC-31's gunport has not yet been identified.

The reason we have not been able to fully confirm J-20's suspected gunport or identify a possible gunport on FC-31, is because they are stealthy aircraft, whose gunports are typically well hidden and may be smooth against its fuselage (like F-22's). Some stealth fighters like F-35 or PAK FA have more obvious gunports, but that doesn't mean J-20 or FC-31 will have such obvious ones.
The chinese military is also very opaque, meaning we do not get the open diagrams and cutaways of J-20 and FC-31 that we'd get with other nation's fighter aircraft, where one can easily ID a gunport through official photos.
The fact that we typically do not get high quality pictures of J-20 and FC-31, and the fact that their paint schemes make it difficult to identify precise small panels that may indicate a gun port also make it difficult for us.

The only way for us to truly eventually positively identify a gunport on J-20 and/or FC-31 is either through wallclimber photos of them happening to open a gunport door on the ground (unlikely), or more likely we will probably have to wait until we get officially released footage or pictures of J-20 and/or FC-31 testing their guns... which is likely going to take years to be considered declassified released.

In other words -- the fact that we can't see an obvious gunport does not mean they are not there.
So the question you should be asking is not "why doesn't J-20 and FC-31 not have a gunport," the question should be "why have we not identified J-20 and FC-31's gunports yet?"

We located the J20's gun some time ago in this thread. Its on the port side, at about the middle of the fuselage.
Ok, ofc can't see all.
You understand i see ...
But some very good bloggers specialized for fighters matter are convinced especialy for the J-20 he don' t get a gun.

LOL. It's been painful to read FORBIN's posts and try to decipher what he/she meant. Most of the time it was worse than Google translation.

Maybe FORBIN should just write in his mother tongue first and then use Google translation to convert it in English.

VIVA LA FRANCE! and Mr. Forbin, please do not take this to heart, your integrity and fairness are beyond reproach! and please do NOT resort to google translate, I think you make a great many very astute posts.

Mr. Forbin's profile states that he is a MALE, from France, so possibly your reading comprehension is iffy???

FORBIN's posts have been very valuable and informative and that's why I always read multiple times of his posts to make sure I understand what he was trying to say.

My comment above is not meant be criticism. Far from it. I was just giving some feedback on my reading experience. No offense please.
