Also, yup, it's as I feared. The J-20's EOTS is about the same size as the F-35's. That implies that technology aside, the EOTS will have the same efficacy as the F-35's.

These birds are not the LRIP ones we saw. They don't have the chaff dispensers at the end.

I believe they are the LRIP ones, and the chaff/flare dispensers are still there... but they have cover panels over them now, to preserve stealth. Similar to what F-22 and F-35 have.
