By comparison between the 2011 and 2012, I say it's real. For one, the engine on the 2012 are different.

Are these images of the 2011 actually the ones suggesting where they were PSed from? There are just too many things that are different. I don't think the PSers will waste that much time. Besides I would assume the fans boys and photographers would be perched at the same spot getting the same angles all the time. The J-20 would be parked in the same spots and travel the same path. So similarities in pics wouldn't be surprising.

Are you sure the engines are different? To me only the nozzle covers that are different, and the engines on the 2012 look pretty like the AL-31 series. China hasn't got the right engines for their J-20!

The first batch of J-20s will probably enter service with AL-31 engines. Once WS-15 is ready for batch B we may see true 4S performances from the plane.

I wouldn't hold my breath on WS-15s. Given the spectacular success of Chinese jet engine development, it might be the year 2050 before we see them in J-20s. Meanwhile, they better hope the AL-31 engine factory doesn't catch on fire.

That is your dream right?

You know that in just 6 years when China fully solve the engine problem you and your USAF dominance will be gone forever !!!

You have seen the progress China has made economically, scientifically and technologically in various fields. You have seen the various military technologies China has mastered over the years. You bubble will burst well before 2050.
