Probably. No one's really sure where the J-20 will stick its gun port though. I don't think we ever identified such a structure in the 200X prototypes, and we don't have a detailed enough look at 2011's body to have any guesses.

Why does the new J-20 have reinforcements to the cockpit canopy? Aren't they less stealthy than a one piece bubble canopy?

Not particularly, I think. F-35s canopy is also braced.

It is probably for a weight or structural or cost reason, or a combination.


And the metal brace is inside the canopy,which is still technically a one piece, so I imagine any detriments to stealth are minimal, as compared to say, true two piece canopies, which feature an outside metal edge to reflect on.
