The refueling pod carried by J-15T is slightly different from old ones (nose removed?) I guess the nose gear of J-15T limits the length of stores there so the pod is reshaped.View attachment 138888View attachment 138889

No, there is an conical intake - similar to the MiG-21/J-7 - on the front, which is movable and if I'm not mistaken moves back for operations; I think it drives the pumps (not sure!)

By the way, so far it was not 100% clear, if there were additional regular J-15 after the final so far known no. 92 ... I think now with the J-15D no. 93 shown today we can say, no. 92 was the final one! Or am I wrong?

my point still stand , the whole point of airshow happen one time per few years is to show off how awesome your military are
that why latest J-15 variant and J-35 show up there

why the fxxx equip them with PL-12 ? basically allow american/westerner even korean/japanese laugh and brag : lol look at that ...ancient PL-12 , we don't even need F-35 or AIM-174B/AIM-260 ...just F/A-18 with 120D is enough for a fking turkey shoot on PLA

You realized these are just dummy missiles?

I couldn't tell if it was an inlet cone or if my eyes were playing tricks on me!
