What make you think it is not CGI . If it were a model there will be a stand But I don't see any stand there. I say "potential" I don't say it is there right now

Thats a model and it is a J-16 (no canard not tail-hook). But for the J-16, I expect a PL-10 + PL-15 combo

In general the load even for Russians Flanker is 4 - 8 AAMs in practice 8 is the maximum.
