They build fighters in batches and don't build single aircraft to replace ones that were lost. Such single aircraft would reduce the total number of aircraft a plant could make in a year and so would be very expensive.

What do you think popeye? Are they exercising that carrier or what?

Lots of aircraft coming in...I have to say, the PLAN is serious and religious about learning carrier flight ops...and it shows.

I am still waiting to see some good pics of night time ops however.
