All 23 of them.
24 A build 22 in service remains all others prototypes or pre series J-15 7 seems for tests, training used ?All 23 of them.
The latest rumor (April 2017) suggested that the production of J-15A ended after 2 batches of 24 units for the Type 001 aircraft carrier. It was speculated to be followed by the improved J-15B (the 3rd batch?) which could feature a new AESA radar developed by the 607 Institute. J-15B is expected to be stationed onboard the indigenous Type 001A aircraft carrier.
23 build and 21 remain in service.24 A build 22 in service remains ...

#111
These remain on land:
#115
#112
#110

These are destroyed:
#118
#117
Do you they should replace lost ones with same serial numbers (117, 118)? According to the above list, they have 8 aboard and 13 on land. 8 planes on board is enough for training purpose, and if needed, they can transfer those on land onto the carrier too. So, the number is quite sufficient. huh?Hi so they haven't replaced the destroyed ones ? If not why any particular reason
Thx
I guess, they have already planned for the losses and they have with the remaining 21 included enough spare aircraft.Hi so they haven't replaced the destroyed ones ? If not why any particular reason
