If the WS-10C is at 145-147kN, then it would be comparable to the latest engines used in the Su-57?
Su-57 just uses the same engines as Su-35, of which China has. Despite this, they didnt opt for buying a license to mass produce the Al-41F1, which implies there is a merit in not using those.

No, it dies not! The Su-35 uses 2 × Saturn AL-41F1S (117S) engines, the Su-57 uses the AL-41F1 (117), which is not exactly the same.
