J-10C recently entered active service in PLAAF this week, second production facilities have started and its expected to be building 60 J-10C annually.

Powered with Thrust Vectoring (TVC) Engine, 1100T/r modules AESA Radar, Semi Stealth features including stealthier frontal signature.
One of the upgrades on J-10C is a data link antenna for the mid-course update of PL-15 VLRAAM.

The premise: a ramjet engine that can turn already deadly missiles into weapons that have greater range, maneuverability, and speed powers PL-15 VLRAAM.

J-10C does not yet have a thrust vectoring engine.

Also, the PL-15 is not the VLRAAM that was spotted on the J-16; it is another MRAAM in the class of the AIM-120D with a range of approximately 200 km. Nobody knows the name for the PL-XX.
