1) Why do those missiles have Red color ?
Red for confrontational combat exercises ?

Red are dummy missiles adding weight. Light blue are training missiles.

2) I am still confused with J-10A -- do both J-10A use TaiHang machine ?

None of the J-10 prior to J-10B have ever flown with WS-10B, at least as far as we know. 1st identified J-10 to fly with WS-10 was the J-10B prototype 1035.

3) Is that possible that these new Yellow Prime J-10A + J-10AS is for IRAN Air Force ?

No idea, but I highly highly doubt its for IRIAF.

Seems like while J-10Bs have started to experiment on WS-10s, the J-10Cs still use AL-31FNs for safety.

We had

J10A in 7 batches
J10AS in 2 batches
J10B in 1 batch
J10C in 1 batch which is batch 02

But if J10C as a "C" should it not be batch 01? As 01 was a J10B

Anyhow I wonder if there will be a J10BS or J10CS?

I once made a compilation / summary in late 2013 of all the info I gathered around and here's the updated version; quite interesting, the first three production blocks were only of 24 aircraft each.

J-10 + J-10A
J-10-Batch 01: 24
J-10-Batch 02: 24
J-10-Batch 03: 24
J-10A-Batch 04: 40
J-10A-Batch 05: 40
J-10A-Batch 06: 40
J-10A-Batch 07: 40

J-10S + AS
J-10S-Batch 01: 10 (??)
J-10AS-Batch 02: 40
J-10AS-Batch 03: 40

J-10B + C
J-10B-Batch 01: 55
J-10B/C-Batch 02: in production, so far 27 spotted (with 32 reported !)

Overall I think it is save to assume that with now for the serials A and AS (7 batches of A + 3 batches of S/AS) + the B/C-production at 55 J-10B and 27 J-10C I come to a sum of:

232 J-10A
90 J-10AS
55 J-10B
27 J-10C
-------------
404 serial J-10 of all versions (without the prototypes)

By the way with the first number being clearly a 7 ... it seems as if our friend is or will be assigned to a Brigade, maybe also the 170. Brigade at the FTTC ?
