but i am bit skeptical. there are still 200 older flanker, 250 jh7/a, 200 j7/8 to be replaced by end of the decade. without j10c, vast majority of above to be replaced by j20 and j16(except a few dozen j31 maybe)?

Like you said, they probably need hundreds of J-10c just to replace older fighters. At the same time they are boosting J-16 and J-20 production.

Well, you can already see 19 in there, so 20 delivery to Pakistan shouldn't be that hard to believe.

They absolutely do not need hundreds more j10c. In fact, why do they need another j10c when they produce 150 j20 and flankers a year?

Oh lord, makes me appreciate PLAAF's low visibility grey camo even more. Is there any tactical value to this kind of camo at this day and age? Harder to spot from air when doing low level penetration over jungle?

In my opinion yes. Flying among high peaks and / or against MANPADs.. it might help.

Supposedly camo against air strikes when the jets are on the ground. Quite outdated given the advances in radar and other ISR means.
