It is not turbulence. The attached picture is a diagram of air density (rho, Greek ρ). I don't know the impact of the spine in a higher density area though. Also remember that the difference in aircrafts shapes means that even the air density in the area behind the cockpit in J-10 may be very different from F-15.This is interesting, an F15 seems to have a lot of turbulence where the J10 has it’s spine. It may be that adding the spine improves aerodynamic performance in some cases.
Camo is for practical purpose such as this camo is for ground attack role. From the top side the green gray mix well with the ground, from below the light blue gray blend well with the sky.The J10C actually looks beautiful in camo.

What's the source for that number? Plus, those deliveries are then to countries other than China??20 j10c deliveries this year. That's a decent total. I wonder if plaaf is still getting this aircraft.
