Sudan is a traditional customer for Chinese planes, and Sudan purchases 24 planes suitable for Sudan. The Sudanese air force is very small and does not find sources of planes from abroad except for China and Russia
Because of the nature of the Sudanese regime, as well as Sudan’s economic conditions, which necessitated the purchase of low-cost fighters, as it is not possible to buy high-priced planes.

The most important thing is, does Sudan have the ability to pay for the fighters? A billion-dollar deal is difficult for Sudan's economic situation now.

well, i was just speaking of CCTV's tendency over these kind of video

and also, you can't see anything on the left hand side of the J-10 which engine was shown, and you don't know if the J-10s is this J-10 or just on its left hand side
Sorry, I don't get your question. This J-10 is either J-10A or J-10S from the look of the ventral fins whose bases have a sting. So cut/paste tendency isn't relevant.

All later J-10 (DSI variants) do not have the stings.

It appears to be a J-10S from this screen grab. Does anyone have a link to the video just so we can make sure?

How do you tell it is a J-10S instead of J-10A?

[Edit], now I see the mid frame of the canopy.

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but is there any idea why the WS-10 seems to have a "fixed" external nozzle with a moveable interior one?

Nozzle of WS-10 except the TVC version is convergence-divergence ejector nozzle. There is an inner convergence-divergence nozzle. The outer nozzle is a divergence nozzle. Between the two there is an air passage sucking air from the engine compartment. The outer nozzle moves together with the inner divergence section but to a lesser degree, that gives the effect of it being "fixed". The French M-88 on Rafale is of similar design. The advantage is 1. extra cooling of the nozzle from the air passage, 2. less geometry change of the nozzle reduces boat-tail drag. The disadvantage is weight and complexity.

TVC WS-10 is of conventional convergence-divergence nozzle due to the TVC requirement.
