One interesting detail I noticed is that it appears to only have one dorsal antenna opposed to two on conventional J-10C. I think this is a completely new type of bird tailored for Pakistan and pretty much rules out any chance of PS.
That would suggest PL15E rather than full-up PL15 which requires mid course data link, which is what the missing antenna does on PLAAF J10Cs I think.

That's disappointing. Essentially a J-10B with AESA radar and domestic engine...

Yankee did say that the PAF version made some concessions but I didn't think it would be with the missile.

Surely they need mid-course update capability even for the SD10, never mind the nerfed PL15E with 145KM range?

Would make more sense if they just used more modern electronics not available when the J10C went into production that reduced the need for a second antenna rather than utterly cripple its BVR capabilities?

That's possible but then why do (AFAIK) new build PLAAF J10C still have the 2nd antenna?
