Here's nice shot that seem to belong with the ones on the other page.

Any truth to what I read on the Chinese boards that J-10C Gold Helmet pilots are regularly beating the Su-35 in exercises?

Even if true, I would wait a few years before drawing conclusions. The PLAAF only just got their Su35s, and it may be a while before their pilots fully master the plane enough to push it to its limits.

Especially since TVC is new to them, so it will take some time for them to learn how best to use it.

He hints J-10C is more capable in avionics and it has to do with radar ability, ECM, and resistance to jamming. Didn't really say anything about one platform beating another because that would really depend on engagement specifics. Also suggested that some say J-16's avionics on Su-35 would make Su-35 more capable.

Here, look at the relative angle of the line between the tails and the relative angle line formed by the gaps separating petals 4,5 and 11,12.

The lines are roughly 65 and 85 degrees, respectively. This is possible via perspective distortion, but that occurs in wide-angle photography which requires the photographer to get extremely close to the subject. Hence it can't be 14, could be 13 (double-counted somewhere) or 15.

I think you're right in that the petal count is 15, the red dot for #1 in Hyperwarp's post covers two petals.
