Can't wait to see in PAF
IMO again or still some fan-boy's wet-dreams. None of the countless rumours and reports came to fruition.
But I'm willing to be corrected.

To refresh the memories ... PAF have signed an agreement of 36 FC20s (J10) in NOV'09 but the induction was hold due the following:
1- Frequent developments in the project (J10A - J10B - J10C - J10D).
2- Induction of JF17 blocks I - II & development of block III.
3- Procurement of IAF - MMRCA (which is now final - Rafale).
Time will tell...
Remember when so called (fan-boys wet dreams) quoted about 054As induction in PN...at that very time several members said that its not gonna happen as this top tier baby of PLAN etc ... now there is firm order in place of 4 such babies for PN...
I love to see J-10 to Pakistan as a validation it is good enough for PakAF. However, J10-C is still pretty new. Given the recent rumors on future FC-31 plans, J10-D no longer makes sense to PLAAF. Further development of J-10 can serve only one purpose to PLAAF: a long term backup plan when J10C is too old, and FC-31 variant fails completely.
So IMO the only possible scenario to develop J10-D is China builds J10-D just for export specifically based on Pakistan's needs. Question is how realistic that scenario will play out.

IMHO... J10D still holds its league with several earlier discussed improvements....hence soon we will see J10D flying in PLAAF colors & hope fully in PAF colors too.
While FC-31 is in different league altogether...

hey guys, if the long dragged on, on and off Su-35 sell to China can materialize, nothing is impossible.
But IMO, isn't it better for Pakistan to have FC-31 instead of J-10 if the price tag is not too much higher? Eventually everyone is going stealth and J-10 is not cheap either, the latest J-10 would have pretty much same radar and avionics as FC-31 anyway.
