Unless the North Korean regime reforms it's policies toward benefiting it's people and improving its economy. It does not validate even "wishing" for any kind of military hardware.

If the loonies in power, come to their senses and bring about change in terms of agricultural reforms, natural resources exploration and so on. There isn't any doubt in my mind that many countries would come forward to help. Because when North Korea begins its transformation to being a peaceful and progressing nation. It would then be good enough of a reason for China and Russia to stand firm with the North Koreans against any hegemonic designs anyone might have. But sadly, the North Korean leadership is blind not to see this and continues on the path of irrationality and destruction.

The North Koreans are being peaceful. They're not the one's traveling around the world doing all these stupid regime changing under the pretense of "democracy and God". The regime isn't changing just for the sake because of others wants them to.

True that. The Chinese would do everything to help them if they really wanted the best from their people. China has gone through that development and the Koreans can learn easily from them.

Yes regime change shouldn't occur because "outsiders" want that to happen. In fact, it would be better if the North Korean Government changes itself for its own people and their betterment. I firmly believe that when North Korean Government reforms it's policies with regards to agriculture, by way of joint agreements with other countries. They would be able to stabilize themselves to be self-sufficient. This would off-set those crippling sanctions being imposed on the country. For when the people are able to work on their land, produce an abundance of agricultural crop and be able to export surplus crop for trade. This would improve North Korea's economic standing.

Whether the North Koreans government would be willing to work with other countries (China, Russia, Iran, India, Malaysia and etc) to improve their economy. Remains to be seen. No regime change is required, just hope that the same regime can change itself for the betterment of its people. The same goes for all countries around the world, including America or Britain or France and etc.

Yes as far as operation of government goes, that's the North Korean problem. Not ours or anyone else.
