They basically shake up the airframe to see how long it lasts until things start to fall apart.
static means not moving. So static tests means they don't fly the aircraft, all testing is done on the ground. They might try to see how it reacts to different forces on the wings and weights on the pylons, etc...sorry to be noob but what do they do in static test or i should put it this way what is statics

Honestly, I don't understand why would someone be going for a PESA radar when everyone else is going for AESA unless a chinese AESA is a far dream.
