Thanks Bltizo, so the J-10B does not it appears. But neither did the su-27 or J-11/J-11B right? Only the Su-30 and J-115 have retractable IFRs?

Yes. Why only MKK and J-15 have IFRs of PLAAF flankers is anyone's guess.

Yeah... obvious overlap in F/A-18D. and Mig-29.

WIll you guys get rid of one type?
I hope Mig-29 is on the chopping block personally.

You are right again. MIG-29 is being phased out. It was cheap to buy but expensive to maintain, and has short airframe live.

FA-18 is just opposite, expensive to buy but cheap and easy on maintenance.

if you think about it, it's really surprising they have not established another regiment already. I guess since the novelty has worn off, we won't find out until a regiment is fully equipped with J-10s.

Yes, that's ecatly what surprises me ... we have so many close-up shots of the J-20 (even not as many I would like esp. from the last weeks; excitement is really over for most :() ... but not a single clear photo of these latest painted J-10's and especially their numbers.

Besides that, what do You think: Are these stil "A" models or are there already some "B" ??

there are so many J-10As in the photos we have seen out of CAC in the past few months that I think this batch is definitely still J-10A.
