That is a very unfinished bird! Look at how many panels are missing off it, and it looks like the ejection seat is not even installed or the main canopy. I wonder what it was doing outside in the first place? You are going to have all sorts of trouble if it rained with so much of the innards exposed. Hell, you might even get insets and birds wondering in if it was left like that for very long outside. Very strange.

The yellow under-paint should have told you something.

It's called primer actually. We have seen plenty of pictures of J10s in primer before, but never one this unfinished out in the open. Whenever you seem planes where access panels are removed the plane is usually in a hanger or under a shelter at the very least.

AESA, PESA, or radar testing?

AESA, PESA, or radar testing?

No consensus yet.

[Note: Thank you to "xyz" at CDF for the picture.]

Sinosoldier: Chenium posted this on CDF. Was it before or after they switched over to the radar covering theory?

Indigenous engine, composite materials, standardization of airframe, RCS under 1m^2 like the Typhoon, can't read the next segment, changed radar, upgraded avionics, increased hardpoints, reduced weight, improved ground strike capability, among other improvements. Test flight in 2008, can't read next segment, J-10B will initially have PESA comparable to RBE-2 [RBE-2 sucks!], AESA up to the standard of Typhoon F3 in 2014.
