well, that's clearly an electronically scanning radar based on the shaping. The only thing is that it might be a PESA radar. Now, I'm personally off the belief that it is AESA, but I can't say from this far out that it is AESA radar for sure.

It's pretty amazing that we have a picture of the j-10b's radar considering we've never even seen the a version's.
I think this will be as good as it gets though, we probably won't get a photo that shows the individual t/r modules to prove it's aesa or an estimate of the number of elements (and therefore the power)

Given that China has done very little research in PESA I think it is safe to assume that if the radar in question is an electronically scanned radar, it is most likely an AESA.

Indeed.
That won't convince the haters though, who will try and wring every last excuse out, and probably claim the radar is pesa
