The first massacres of the local population carried out by the fanatical Ukrainians, Poles, Lithuanians, and Belarusians who arrived with the British Empire (1917-) date back to 1937.

It's been almost 90 years of Terror.

Some of the disquisitions in this thread are surprising to me.

It's difficult to find a comparable case of a people subjected to such sadistic, constant, and long-standing abuse.

Future generations of scholars, scientists, and researchers will look with bewilderment at the tragedy of "the people of the land" ("am ha'eretz") of "the land of Canaan".

You people who harp on about how palestians/iranians/arabs don't appreciate what China has done for them need to chill the f**k out. The palestenians (and some other arabs) are people whose majority didn't even manage to finish highschool due mainly to poverty and misery, who knew war and strife since they were young and got close and personal with death and tragedy. Would they call foreigners racial slurs and treat with caution/hostility? If they're living in a warzone then probably yes.

They struggled hard against those who invaded and tortured them to no avail and watched as others left them to their grim fate despite claiming to be opposite to the west as well. For them, basically all foreigners are unreliable so they can only fight on while hoping that those with whom they share ethnic/cultural/religious ties do something or that some kind of divine intervention comes their way. So why should they be thankful to China? because of some empty talk and useless gestures like the gulf arabs? at least most of the gulf arabs don't trade with Israel.

From the perspective of Palestinians/arabs the Chinese/Koreans/Japanese/vietnamese are different people from different ethnicities, different religions and faraway lands who are at best indifferent to their plight and for them and their current culture, the saying "those who are not of our kin, are bound to have a different heart" still holds.

The same can be said about the Iranians as well. They had to deal with sanctions for decades. Meanwhile, the world's largest trading nation trades with their supposed adversary while ignoring them, giving them empty promises or even enforcing sanctions on them to placate the west.

Why would the average person in Iran, who doesn't understand the intricacies of geopolitics, prefer China over the west? From their perspective, the latter does whatever they want while the former chickens out. Obviously they'll favour trying to make a deal with the US to lift sanctions rather than rely on an entity they deem unreliable.

Since the Chinese government chose the way of strict pragmatism, instead of benevolence, when dealing with MENA, you people really shouldn't expect the region to be grateful to China or to respect them, especially since while the west has proved it's power and sway for centuries, China has yet to do so. So stop moaning and bitching about it. It makes you sound like the MAGA americans when they adress Ukrainians and europeans: pathetic.

is there actually a video of these kids calling him ching chong? because if there isn't then I call BS on this story. very few in the Arab world know the term "chingchong". and literaly no one knows the term "chink". if they were to call him something, I would expect them to call him "Jackie Chan" or something similar.
to be honest if a person who claims to be a humanitarian worker get's this much hurt because some kids called him a name then he is not cut for the job. a while ago one of my colleagues brought her daughter to work. the daughter started giving nicknames to us based on vegetables so cucumber, tomato, she calls another colleague eggplant because he is dark skinned, obciously the mother tells her not to say that. it's just a kid. it's not like the kid told you "go die".

to be honest demanding that the Palestinians be grateful to any one is completely out of touch.

the entire world (including China and Russia) abandoned Palestine and decided to just sit back and watch one of the most brutal genocides in modern history. the world chose to do nothing because they realize that Israel is America's holy master. for America.. Israel and it's people are much more important than America and it's people. if you harm the US directly then the American retaliation against you will be less severe than if you would hurt Israel. after all America chose to forgive Joulani & AlQaeda, the organization that killed 3000 American civilians on US soil because Joulani promised to befriend Israel.

if any Palestinian choses to be grateful to those who didn't help his people then that Palestinian has no self respect. the only ones who the Palestinians are probably grateful to are the Yemenis and maybe to a less extent Hezbolah and Iran. and even for these countries I'm sure you could still find the occaional Palestinian wahabi who doesn't give a fk about the Palestinian cause and only cares about killing the "kafir Shia".

to be honest people demanding that Palestinians be grateful to China or any other country is even more out of touch than J.D. Vance telling Zelensky "you didn't say thank you".

Oh you’d be surprised. Syrian children do it too, from a school sponsored with Chinese money no less.

How the fuck do you equate anger at racial discrimination with us acting like JD Vance? We don’t care if they are not appreciative, we just don’t want them to use discriminatory language against Chinese people. Is that too much to ask? Most African Americans haven’t helped Palestinians out either. Does it make it okay for Palestinian children to call them “ni**ers”?

That's the funny part. They do, for everyone, without discrimination. Welcome to the bottom tier of the third world, where everyone is trying to survive and has no time to educate their children on useless (to them) things like "racism" and "racial discrimination". Heck, even the parents weren't educated on it and are pretty racist themselves. To further appreciate the " scenery", look up on racism among africans (yeah, some black africans kill other black africans for not being black enough. It's that bad).

Syria is a different matter. it was a divided nation. half of it supported by Russia and co. and the other half supported by the US and co.

the video you posted is in Syria not Palestine, I specifically asked if there is a video of what happened with the guy in Palestine ofcourse with the original sound rather than some one talking over it.

you are saying it as if Palestinians were calling him "chink" or something. literally no one in the middle east knows these terms even exist. I can already imagine what happened. east Asians are seen as exotic in the middle east because we rarely see people with slant eyes here. it is similar to how Africans are seen as being exotic in China so they sometimes attract racially insensitive commentary. the concept of American style racism does not exist in these cases in China (with the Africans) or in Palestine or the rest of the middle east (with the east Asians). especially if you have slant eyes and you are talking with kids. the kids will see you as exotic and will probably just laugh & tell you "shing shong shang tsung", afterall they can't speak Chinese so that's the only thing that comes to their mind. this is some funny sh*t, not some racist sh*t. feeling insulted over a kid talking jibberish to you is very weird. kids will talk smack. when my colleague's daughter called me "cucumber" did I feel insulted and stormed out of the work place? no ofcourse not.

not every one was raised in a society like that of the US where racism had such an impact on the country and culutre that you are taught nowadays from a young age to watch your tongue so that you don't say anything that hurts the feelings of some other race or gender or whatever.

aside from the usual sepratist issues between the Arabs and the Kurds we don't have any concept of racism in the mid east so we don't care about it and we don't sensor ourselves over it. we don't descriminate based on race, rather we descriminate based on religion.

Palestinian children calling a Chinese live-streamer who risked his life to go to West Bank and help them a “Chingchong”. Not a great way to garner support, just saying. I feel that they and the Iranians, despite being brutalized by the West, still insist on asserting their dominance over Chinese people. Goes to show the power of Western establishment and propaganda.
Only way that Palestinian children or any non-western people can know this phrase is by learning it from western media either online or through TV. Otherwise their language would not naturally produce a slur which sounds like this. It's English origin. Obviously given the strength of Hollywood and comedy, East Asian features as a point of humour has been a major thing at least in the past.

Another thing to note is that unfortunately I think there is a racist towards others in all of us, especially if you lack exposure to other cultures as an individual. Humans are tribalistic. But it should not drive you to hate an entire people as these are isolated elements.

Nothing. Problem?
the problem is that some people here are crying because apparently the Palestinians should be grateful to China. and when we point out that there is nothing that the Palestinians should feel grateful for because no one helped them you come out and say "China doesn't have to do anything". well then that's great. in that case netizens here and on the internet need to stop crying about how some kids are not being grateful to China.

Well, the West and Iran/Palestinians are both racist, but one has money and the other doesn't. And the one with money is intelligent enough to at least keep its racism somewhat contained because it's not as stupid as the open racists. Guess which one China's going to choose.

I agree with you 100% on this one. yes indeed the west keeps it's anti-China racism at bay while the mid east doesn't even bother hiding it's anti China racism. that is especially true since the likes of China uncensored, Lowy86 and Serpenza etc.. are based in the mid east and not in the west. and also especially true since J.D. Vance (the vice president of Palestine/Iran) called the Chinese people peasants.

racism implies hate. if you are racist towards someone that means you hate him/her. your average middle easterner doesn't think positively nor negatively of China. just as how the avergae Chinese guy doesn't follow news about the mid east because he doesn't care about that region. because the mid east and east Asia are basically seperate worlds not connected in any way, not even politicaly.

we are about as racist towards the Chinese as we are racist towards the Tuvaluans. that is to say the average mid easterner does't care about (hate nor love) China. so how can we be racist towards (ie: hate) a country that we never talk about?
